The newly published Rutledge Handbook of Public Policy in Africa features a chapter on disaster law, written by María Mercedes Martínez, from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).  

Through a partnership with the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law (CISDL),  IFRC Disaster Law supported and participated in events during COP 26.

Stella Ngugi, acting coordinator for IFRC Disaster Law in Africa says that despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and its related restrictions, IFRC Disaster Law has had a busy and successful year in the region.
