Palau

Palau, like many Pacific nations, is particularly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change including rising sea levels and severe weather events. IFRC Disaster Law provides technical advice on disaster law issues and actively supports Palau Red Cross Society in its disaster risk management work. Palau was one of 16 countries included in a recent study of legal preparedness for regional and international disaster assistance in the Pacific.
