From producing a desk survey on law and regulation for disaster risk reduction in Australia, to a report on Australia's legal preparedness for international disaster assistance, IFRC Disaster Law has engaged with several important aspects of disaster law in Australia. Most recently, Australia was one of 16 countries included in a study of legal preparedness for regional and international disaster assistance in the Pacific. Australian Red Cross also works closely with its government on disaster law issues.
