In Timor-Leste, a country prone to drought, flooding and landslides, IFRC Disaster Law provides technical support and conducts research. A Disaster Risk Management Law is currently being drafted, seeking to implement International Disaster Response Law and address disaster risk reduction. Timor-Leste Red Cross Society and IFRC Disaster Law are providing technical assistance on the development of the new law.
