Brunei

IFRC Disaster Law supports the strengthening of disaster risk management laws and the implementation of international disaster law in Brunei, with a focus on ensuring those most vulnerable to disasters are protected. IFRC Disaster Law has conducted a desk review of national level disaster laws and policies in the ASEAN Member States, including Brunei. The desk review focused specifically on the implementation of the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER) at the domestic level and culminated in a collection of Country Profiles and a Regional Stocktake.
