The IDEAL PhD cluster is a group of PhD students from across the world who are interested in law and disasters. The cluster meets every couple of months to share their research, provide support and discuss issues related to law and disasters.
PhD candidate, Balkrishna Gurung, University of Reading, will talk about: "A human rights-based approach in disaster prevention and mitigation to provide protection and agency to victims of caste-based discrimination in Nepal". The presentation will be chaired by Dr Dug Cubie of University College Cork, Ireland.
This online seminar will be held via Zoom on 1 September 2022 at 4pm Brazil time, 8pm UK time, 9pm CEST and 7am NZ time (2 September 2022).
