PIROI and IFRC DLP (Disaster Law Program) are organizing a two-days workshop on the facilitation and regulation of legal preparedness for international disaster assistance (IDRL) for South-West Indian Ocean’ countries on 8 - 9th September 2021. The regional workshop is designed to support key stakeholders from countries of the South-West Indian Ocean in the integration of the International Disaster Response Law (IDRL) and related standards, to facilitate international disaster assistance in their context. Also, it aims to strengthen the design of a regional strategy to facilitate and regulate cooperation in international assistance.
